Guys Like Me devotes a full chapter each to five veterans of five U.S. wars: Ernie Sanchez, Woody Powell, Gregory Ross, Daniel Craig and Jonathan Hutto. Two other veterans, Wendy Barranco and Ken Mayers appear in the first and final chapters. 

The book illuminates the textures and trajectories of these veterans’ life projects as peacemakers.
